Sacred Heart Catholic School, Manoa, Havertown, Pennsylvania was founded in 1928 and is staffed by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Immaculata, Pennsylvania and a lay faculty. The nature of Sacred Heart Catholic School is twofold - Religious and Academic, serving the educational needs of children from preschool through grade eight, based on curriculum established by the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Parental involvement is a vital part of the school community and a strong sense of reaching out to the needy of our neighborhood and world characterizes the school community.

Sacred Heart School is committed to educating the whole child in a Catholic Christian atmosphere supported by a challenging academic program which will prepare our students to meet the challenges of this millennium. Administration, faculty, and parents encourage students to live the Gospel message and to render service generously. We proclaim a message that is enjoyed and celebrated in the Sacred Heart community and is extended through the service of prayer and action
